Aaron Rai and Tyrrell Hatton were close on his heels and shared second place, finishing one shot behind Fox. Aaron Rai lipped out a 40-foot eagle putt on the 18th that would have made it a playoff, but he settled for a tie for second.
European Ryder Cup stars filled up the top 10 with solid performances in the build-up to Rome. Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Tommy Fleetwood clinched the sixth position despite an even par final round, and Rory McIlroy had a final round 65 to get in a tie for seventh.
Amidst standout performances was the young gun Ludvig ร berg, who faced a challenging final day at Wentworth after leading heading into Sunday. Struggling to maintain the momentum, ร berg shot a 76, four over par on Sunday, ultimately sharing tenth place but still an impressive finish for the Swede who just captured his first professional win.
PGA Tour - Fortinet Championship
Sahith Theegala claimed his maiden win on the PGA Tour after consistently coming close in his first two seasons. The Pepperdine grad rode a stellar short game and approach play to finish with a two-shot victory, even with a bogey at the last hole. Theegalaโs weakness since getting on tour has been an erratic driver, but he managed to control it enough this week to capture his first win in his home state.

S.H. Kim finished second and played consistent all week, with all four rounds in the 60s moving to 57th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings. This result would put him in the field for the first two Signature Events in 2024.
Australian Cameron Davis finished third, continuing his run of solid form dating back to late July. The finish in Napa marks his fourth top-10 finish in his last five starts on the PGA Tour.
Among other notable performances was Justin Thomas, who made his first start since the beginning of August. Although his final round even par never threatened the lead, Thomas played much better than earlier in the year and looks ready for the Ryder Cup in two weeks.
Max Homa couldnโt secure a three-peat in Napa, yet still finished in the top 10.
Korn Ferry Tour - Simmons Bank Open
Grayson Murray won The Simmons Bank Open at The Grove in Tennessee for his second victory on the Korn Ferry Tour this season. The win locks up Murrayโs PGA Tour card for the 2024 season.
