Brooks Koepka won his 5th major at Oak Hill and first major since the 2019 PGA Championship. He fired a 66 on Friday and Saturday in wet conditions to hold the lead going into the final round. After making birdie on 3 of his first four holes Sunday, it was clear Koepka was the one everybody else was chasing.

The 16th on Sunday was the deciding hole for Koepkaโs win over Viktor Hovland. The same bunker that did Corey Conners in on Saturday with an embedded ball got Viktor Hovland on Sunday. Hovland hit his second shot into the face of the bunker, took an embedded ball drop onto the sloped face in front of the bunker, and went on to make double bogey. Koepka, after driving it into the right rough, hit his approach to 5 feet and made birdie, stretching the lead to four shots at the time.
Viktor Hovland's second shot caught the lip of the bunker.
He made double bogey on 16.

For Koepka, the exclamation point came at the 18th, needing just a bogey to secure the win. He striped the drive, and then hit his approach to 10 feet and comfortably made par.
It was an impressive week for Viktor Hovland, who closed with a birdie to finish in a tie for second. His ball-striking has been world-class ever since he got on tour, but the struggles around the green have kept him from breaking through as an elite player on tour. He seems to have overcome the short-game struggles and keeps finding himself in the hunt - his last three major finishes are T4, T7, and T2. Big things to come for the Norwegian!
Scottie Scheffler made four birdies on his last nine holes to finish with a 65 and tie for second. In addition to the $1.5 million paycheck, Scheffler also regained the World Number 1 ranking from Jon Rahm.
Cam Davis and Kurt Kitayama both fired Sunday 65โs to finish in a share for fourth. The top 5 finish secures a spot in the Masters for 2024.
PGA professional Michael Block, rode the momentum of an incredible week, made a hole-in-one on the 15th hole, and finished in a tie for 15th. His 18th hole included an approach into the gallery short left, which he managed to get up and down for par and secure a $288k payout. The finish gets him a spot in next yearโs PGA Championship at Valhalla, and after the round scored a sponsorโs exemption into next week's Charles Schwab Challenge as well as the Canadian Open.
UNBELIEVABLE!

Corey Conners finished tied for 12th after briefly holding the lead on Saturday. It was ultimately a steep bunker face on the 16th hole that stopped Connersโ momentum on Saturday, and then he struggled on Sunday to a five over 75.
Bryson DeChambeau started the tournament with an impressive 66 and finished the weekend with back-to-back even par 70s to tie for fourth. The strong performance was somewhat of a surprise, given Brysonโs results in 2023. His last start at LIV Tulsa was a T5, but otherwise, he had missed the cut in the two events with cuts he has played (Masters, Saudi International) and hadnโt finished inside the top 15 in LIV events.
Overall, Oak Hill was a great host for the PGA Championship, even with the rainy conditions on Saturday. With the close of the year's second major, we now have two top-notch champions in Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka. The US Open at Los Angeles Country Club is now just 24 days away!
Ladies European Tour - Aramco Team Series - Florida
Carlota Ciganda won the LET event for her seventh career win on the European Tour.
Lydia Ko finished tied for third for her fourth top 10 of the year.
On the team competition side, the team led by Pauline Roussin with Nuria Iturrioz, Trish Johnson, and amateur Michael Bickford won first place by one shot.
Japan LPGA - Bridgestone Ladies Open
Miyuu Yamashita won convincingly in Japan by 7 shots for her second win of the year.
Korea LPGA - Doosan Match Play Championship
Yu Jin Sung won the match play event in Korea. Sung got out of group play with 3 wins and then won each of her four matches in the knockout stage to claim the victory.
Korn Ferry Tour - AdventHealth Championship
Grayson Murray won on the Korn Ferry Tour by one shot over Rico Hoey and Wilson Furr.
Murray has been playing back and forth between the PGA Tour, and the win is his first since the 2017 Barbasol Championship.
Japan Golf Tour - Golf Partner Pro-Am Tournament
Juvic Pagunsan won on the Japan Tour and marks his second career win on the tour.
Sunshine Tour - Zanaco Masters
Robson Chinhoi from Zimbabwe won for the first time on the Sunshine Tour over Neil Schietekat. Schietekat had won two weeks ago at the Zimbabwe Open. Chinoi was two back to start the day, and his Sunday 68 was enough to get him into the playoff, which he won with a birdie.
