LPGA - Women's World Championship
Jin Young Ko successfully defended her title in Singapore in a rain-soaked tournament. After battling back from a wrist injury, Ko was emotional on the 18th walk to the green and noted in the interview after the round how this win in Singapore was her โmost importantโ. Nelly Korda finished second and was the only player with all four rounds in the 60s.
PGA Tour - Arnold Palmer Invitational
Kurt Kitayama held on for his first PGA Tour victory. Sundayโs final round had a bunched leaderboard with Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, and Tyrrell Hatton, all with solid chances to win late. Kitayama made a birdie on his 17th hole and finished with a clutch par on the final hole that gave him the victory by 1.
PGA Tour - Puerto Rico Open
Nico Echavaria was also a first-time winner on the PGA Tour in Puerto Rico. With his win, Echavaria gets into next weekโs Players Championship. Akshay Bhatia birdied his last 4 holes to finish solo second and earned a PGA TOUR Special Temporary Membership.
PGA Tour of Australasia & Asian Tour - New Zealand Open
Brendan Jones won the New Zealand Open at Millbrook Golf Resort. At one point in the final round, there was a 4-way tie for the lead at 15-under, but Jones separated himself with 3 birdies coming in.
Ladies European Tour - Joburg Ladies Open
Lily May Humphreys won by two strokes at the Joburg Open over Ana Pelaez Trivino and Moa Folke. It was the first LET win for Humphreys
