With this win, Højgaard finishes second in the Race to Dubai, leaps into the top 50 in the world, and caps off a year that included a Ryder Cup win against the U.S. team. The win was the third DP World Tour title for Højgaard at only 22 years old.
Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland, and overnight leader Matt Wallace couldn't catch up, ending two shots behind despite strong finishes. Wallace had an incredible third round, where he birdied his final nine holes to shoot 60.

PGA Tour - The RSM Classic
Ludvig Åberg triumphed at The RSM Classic, tying a PGA Tour 72-hole record with a score of 253, marking his first PGA Tour victory.
Åberg had a pair of 9-under 61s on the weekend and shattered the tournament record by seven strokes. The win makes him the likely favorite for the Rookie of the Year honors on the PGA Tour. The victory also moves Åberg into the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking and earns him exemptions into 2024's premier Signature Events.
His closest competitor, Mackenzie Hughes, fell short despite a valiant runner-up score of 257, the lowest by a second-place finisher in a 72-hole event.
Tyler Duncan and Eric Cole landed in a tie for third, with Cole continuing his impressive rookie season with his fourth top-four finish in five starts.
LPGA Tour Championship
Amy Yang took home her first LPGA Tour win in the U.S., claiming the CME Group Tour Championship with a record-breaking 72-hole score of 261. Yang's final round was highlighted by an eagle from 80 yards out, with her total of 27 birdies tying for the most in the field.
Yang's closest competitors were Alison Lee and Nasa Hataoka. Both finished tied for second at -24, four strokes behind Yang.
Notably, Lilia Vu was named the 2023 Rolex Player of the Year, while Atthaya Thitikul earned the Vare Trophy with an LPGA season scoring average of 69.53. Vu surpassed Celine Boutier for the Rolex Player of the Year title, adding this achievement to her impressive season, including four wins, two of which were majors.
Asian Tour - Indonesian Masters
Gaganjeet Bhullar clinched his fifth Indonesian title at the BNI Indonesian Masters with a sensational wire-to-wire victory, his 11th Asian Tour win. Bhullar finished strong with an eagle on the 18th, sealing his win at 24-under, a comfortable five strokes ahead of second place.
Karandeep Kochhar followed in second place, celebrating his highest finish on the Asian Tour with solid patience and execution throughout the event.
LIV golfer David Puig tied for third after scores of 62 and 66 on the weekend.
Japan Golf Tour - Dunlop Phoenix Tournament
Yuta Sugiura won as an amateur at the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament. The event will be Sugiura’s last event as an amateur and puts his name on the list of winners that includes Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka, and Ernie Els, among others.
Two other Japanese stars, Taiga Semikawa and Keita Nakajima, shared second place, three shots behind the amateur.
Brooks Koepka shot a one over 72 in the final round to finish in a tie for 15th.
