Alison Lee shot a final round 67 to get into the playoff with Minjee Lee but couldnโt convert her birdie putt on the extra hole. Alison has been consistent in making cuts this year, with only two missed cuts in 24 starts, and the second place is her best finish of the year.
Lydia Ko turned around a lackluster couple of months with a third-place finish and her best result since May.
PGA Tour - ZOZO Championship
Collin Morikawa won convincingly in Japan with a 6-shot margin. He shot the low round of the tournament on Sunday for his first win in almost two years since winning the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai in 2021.

Morikawaโs closest competitors were rookie Eric Cole and Beau Hossler. Cole further made his case for Rookie of the Year with his third top 5 finish in his last four starts. The $748k in earnings also moves him over $5 million earned this year. Hossler also seems to have found his form in the fall season, with a tie for second that follows up on a tie for seventh last week.
Some of the local Japanese stars who cracked the top 10 included Ryo Ishikawa, Ryo Hisatsune, and Kensei Hirata.
DP World Tour - Andalucรญa Masters
Adrian Meronk won in Spain with a final round that included two eagles. Meronk was two over after his first five holes, and a victory looked unlikely, but he turned it around in a spectacular manner by playing his last thirteen holes in eight under to secure a one-shot victory.
Matthias Schmid finished one behind Meronk after starting the final round in a tie for the lead. His final round 71 included a costly bogey at the 16th hole, and he could only settle for second place.
LIV Miami
Bryson DeChambeauโs team, Crushers, went on to win the 2023 team final for LIV golf. The Sunday final was an 18 hole stroke play event where Anirban Lahiri and Dechambeau led the way with a 65 and 67 for the Crushers. All four players scores counted with Charles Howell III and Paul Casey also contributing a 72 and 73 for their team to win by two shots over the Range Goats.
The Miami event capped the season for LIV and leaves with an uncertain 2024 calendar for LIV. With details on the PGA Tour and LIV merger still unsettled, the details of what a third season for LIV golf looks is still up in the air.
