Forty-five of the top 100 women players are teeing it up on the LPGA in Ohio, 18 in Korea, 13 in Japan, and 1 in the Netherlands for the Ladies European Tour.
On the men’s side, another quiet week in the build up to the Ryder Cup. All 17 players from the top 100 active are playing at the Irish Open on the European Tour.

This week on the European Tour is the Irish Open, played at The K Club in Kildare.
The field is stronger thanks to some PGA Tour players making their way to Europe before the Ryder Cup. With his recent victory at the Scottish Open and fourth place in the PGA Tour Championship, Rory McIlroy headlines the field. McIlroy also won the event in 2016 when it was last held at the K Club. Also joining McIlroy in the field are fellow Ryder Cuppers Tyrrell Hatton and Shane Lowry.
Adrian Meronk returns as the defending champion, bringing with him the weight of narrowly missing a Ryder Cup selection. He will certainly be playing with extra motivation as he attempts to defend his title.
The Irish Open will also witness the professional debuts of Mark Power of Ireland and John Gough of England. Fresh from their play at the Walker Cup at the Old Course, both youngsters are eager to make their mark on the professional circuit.
LPGA - Queen City Championship
The LPGA Tour heads to Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio, for the second playing of the Queen City Championship. Ally Ewing captured the title in the inaugural event, and she's set to defend her crown against a strong field this year.
Key players to watch this week include China's Ruoning Yin, who moved up to 2nd in the world ranking and has been in solid form of late with a T3 finish at the Portland Classic. Despite recent inconsistencies, New Zealand's Lydia Ko will look to bounce back to form. Allisen Corpuz and England's Charley Hull will certainly be contenders, given their recent solid performances.
Players will also have an eye on the upcoming Solheim Cup in Spain. After the Queen City Championship, there is a break for a week before the prestigious team event begins.
Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour - Shinhan Donghae Open
This week, the Club72 Golf and Resort's Ocean Course in Incheon will host the Shinhan Donghae Open, a co-sanctioned event uniting talents from the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour. Among the participants, Keita Nakajima stands out with his recent victory at the Yokohama Minato Championship. Other top players in the field include Sadom Kaewkanjana and Shugo Imahira.
Japan LPGA - JLPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup
This week's JLPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup unfolds at the scenic Passage Kinkai Island Golf Club in Togitsu, nestled within Nagasaki's Nishisonogi-gun. A spotlight on top contenders reveals Jiyai Shin, fresh off a playoff loss at the Nitori Ladies and a commendable performance at the Women's Open. Not far behind is Kokona Sakurai, who won last week at the Golf 5 Ladies.
Korea LPGA - KB Financial Group STAR Championship
The KB Financial Group STAR Championship tees off at Blackstone Icheon in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Ladies European Tour - Big Green Egg Open
The Big Green Egg Open on the Ladies European Tour is hosted at the Hilversumsche Golf Club in the Netherlands. Among the noteworthy players to watch, Anna Nordqvist comes into the event following a T5 finish at the La Sella Open, while Anne van Dam hopes to capture the home crowd's adulation after her close call in the playoff at last week’s Women's Irish Open.
