Lots of golf happening after the Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup have wrapped up, The European tour takes a trip to the home of golf
Top 100 preview
Of the top 100 women players, 28 are in Texas for the LPGA event, 16 are playing in Korea, 14 are in Japan, and another six are in Hong Kong for the Ladies European Tour event.
For the men, only 32 of the top 100 players are teeing it up this week - 18 are in Mississippi for the Sanderson on the PGA Tour, 13 are in Scotland for the European Tour, and 1 in the Korn Ferry Championship in Indiana.

PGA Tour - Sanderson Farms Championship
The second PGA Tour Fall season event is in Jackson, Mississippi. After the short break for the Ryder Cup field, the PGA Tour fall events offer a chance for golfers outside the top 50 in FedEx Cup points to improve their standing before the start of 2024.
The only player inside the top 50 teeing it up this week is Emiliano Grillo. The defending champion is Canadian Mackenzie Hughes, who finished 51st in the regular season FedEx Cup list.
Hot off the Ryder Cup victory in Rome, Ludvig Åberg makes his first start on the PGA Tour in the fall.
DP World Tour - Alfred Dunhill Links Championship
This week, the European Tour visits the home of golf for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The tournament is played over three courses, The Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie Golf Links, and Kingsbarns Golf Links, and features a strong field even with its position on the calendar after the Ryder Cup.
From the winning European Team, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, and Scotland’s own Robert MacIntyre are in the field.
Asian Tour - International Series Singapore
The International Series on the Asian Tour makes a stop in Singapore at Tanah Merah Country Club. The event in Singapore marks the seventh International Series tournament of the year, with Andy Ogletree still holding a commanding lead in the Series money list with wins in Qatar and England this year.
LPGA - The Ascendant LPGA
The LPGA is back at the Old American Golf Club in The Colony, Texas, for The Ascendant tournament.
Charley Hull is the defending champion and returns to Texas, still searching for her first win this year. Her form has been good throughout the year, including four second-place finishes, and she will head into the event this week as the favorite.
Ladies European Tour - Aramco Team Series - Hong Kong
The Ladies European Tour makes a stop this week at the Hong Kong Golf Club for an Aramco Team Series event. Even with an LPGA event happening, the number 1 and 3 players in the world, Lilia Vu and Jin Young Ko, are opting to tee it up in Hong Kong.
