Top 100 preview
Nearly all of the top 100 women players are active this week, with most playing at the LPGA’s Founders Cup in New Jersey.
On the men’s side, most of the top 100 are resting before the 2nd major of the year next week with the PGA Championship.

LPGA - Cognizant Founders Cup
The LPGA heads to Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, NJ, for the Founders Cup. 8 of the top 10 in the world are in the field. It is the LPGA Tour's first event of four this season to be held in the New York/New Jersey area. Five previous champions are in the field this week, including Jin Young Ko, who won the event twice, and defending champion Minjee Lee.
LIV Golf - LIV Tulsa
LIV hosts its 6th event of the season and, for the first time, visits Tulsa, Oklahoma. Talor Gooch, an Oklahoma State University alum, has won the last two tournaments and leads the season-long Individual Champion points standings. The tournament will have a purse of $25 million, with a $4 million individual winner's share and $5 million team share. Weather forecasts for the tournament include scattered thunderstorms.
Other Oklahoma State players in the field are Charles Howell III, Peter Uihlein, Matt Wolff, and Eugenio Chacarra.
The tournament looks to be a tune-up for many players playing in the PGA Championship next week, notably Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, and Phil Mickelson.
The only team change is Laurie Canter is in for Sam Horsfield on the Majesticks.
PGA Tour - Byron Nelson
After last week's designated event, the field is lighter for the Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch. K.H. Lee won the last two Bryon Nelson’s with a one-shot victory over Jordan Spieth last year. He looks to make it a 3-peat this week.
Jordan Spieth had to Withdraw earlier in the week due to a wrist injury. Spieth said he will “week to week,” and let’s hope he can give it a go at the PGA Championship.
Scottie Scheffler is the top-ranked player in the field and can move to number 1 in the world with a win.
DP World Tour - Soudal Open
The European tour is in Belgium this week at Rinkven International Golf Club. The tournament will feature top Belgian players Thomas Detry and Nicolas Colsaerts. Also in the field are Ryder Cup vice-captains Thomas Bjørn and Edoardo Molinari.
Lev Grinberg, the Ukranian amateur, returns to the Soudal Open after making the cut last year as a 15-year-old.
Japan LPGA - RKB Mitsui Matsushima Ladies
The ladies Japan tour is playing at Fukuoka Country Club for its 11th event of the season. Miyuu Yamashita and Mao Saigo headline the field.
Korea LPGA - NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship
The 6th event of the schedule for the LPGA of Korea is at Suwon Country Club. The top player in the field, Min Ji Park, is also the defending champion.
Ladies European Tour - Jabra Ladies Open
The European ladies head to the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France. The field is led by last year's Race to Costa del Sol winner Linn Grant. The defending champion is Tiia Koivisto. The winner will receive a spot in the Evian Championship.
