LPGA - International Crown

The LPGA heads to Harding Park in San Francisco to host the first International Crown event since 2018. The event features an exciting format with 8 countries fielding teams of 4 players competing in match play across four days.

Thursday through Saturday will be fourball matches, with 5 of the 8 teams advancing to Sunday Singles. The team accumulating the most points between the fourball and singles matches will be crowned on Sunday.

South Korea, led by Jin-Young Ko, looks to defend its 2018 International Crown title.

Team England is short their top 2 players after late withdrawals from Georgia Hall and Charley Hull.

Team USA offers the strongest four players, with world number 1, Nelly Korda, leading the way.

PGA Tour - Wells Fargo Championship

Another designated event with a $20 million purse up for grabs is being played at Quail Hollow.

World numbers 1 & 2, Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler are using their one designated skip to sit this week out. Rahm and Scheffler have combined to win 5 of the first 8 designated events - nice of them to give everyone a chance to win one.

Watch out for the closing three holes at Quail Hollow - “The Green Mile” is the toughest finishing stretch on tour, playing almost a stroke over par on average over the past 5 years.

Rory McIlory is headlining the field with his first start since the missed cut at the Masters.

Tony Finau is coming off a win at the Mexico Open and last year won back-to-back events in 2022 at the 3M Open and Rocket Mortgage Classic.
