LPGA - Chevron Championship
The Chevron Championship in Houston is set to feature some of the top women in golf for the first major of the year. This will be the first year the tournament will be held in Houston, and nearly all of the top 100 women in the world are expected to participate.
The tournament will be played at The Club at Carlton Woods after moving from longtime host Mission Hills in California.
Lydia Ko has a chance to get enough points with a win to enter the women's golf Hall of Fame. Ko, the number one ranked player heading in, already had one win this year at the Saudi International, and she looks to win her first major since 2016.
Another favorite heading into the week is Nelly Korda. She already has 4 top-10 finishes in 5 starts this year. It will be surprising not to see her in contention this weekend.
The defending champ is Jennifer Kupcho.
LIV - Adelaide
The LIV event in Adelaide, Australia, is set to feature some of the top Australian players, including Cam Smith and Marc Leishman. This will be the first time the LIV tour has come to Australia, and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the event. Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson are both coming off their tie for second at the Masters and looking to continue the good form.
PGA Tour - Zurich Classic
The PGA Tour is playing in teams this week. The field features 80 teams of two, with play alternating between fourball and foursomes over the four days.
The top 2 players in the field, Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are teaming up again to defend their title this year.
Another power team is Max Homa playing with Collin Morikawa for the first time this year.
Last week's champ, Matt Fitzpatrick, is bringing along his brother, Alex to try and help him gain PGA tour status.
DP World Tour & Japan Golf Tour - ISPS Handa Championship
A co-sanctioned event hosted in Japan brings together some top European players along with the top Japanese players. They are playing at PGM Ishioka Golf Club in Omitama, Japan
