Top 100 preview
Most of the top men’s players are teeing it up again this week after the Masters. 68 of the top 100 are at the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage in Harbour Town. The Asian Tour’s International Series event in Vietnam has one top 100 players, and the Sunshine Tour also has one top 100 players active.
On the women’s side, 24 of the Top 100 players are in the LPGA event in Hawaii, 16 are in the Korean LPGA event, and 12 are in the Japan LPGA.

PGA Tour - RBC Heritage
Hot off the Masters, the top players are heading to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for the RBC Heritage. This event is the 6th designated event on the PGA Tour, featuring an elevated purse of $20 million. Notably absent will be Rory McIlroy who withdrew earlier in the week after already missing the first designated event of the year.
Jordan Spieth is the defending champion and Jon Rahm leads the field after his 4th win of the year at the Masters.
LPGA Tour - Lotte Championship
The top women are playing at Hoakalei Country Club in Oahu, Hawaii, for the 6th event of the year on the LPGA calendar. It is the final event before the first major for the ladies at the Chevron Championship. Some of the highest-rank players such as Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko are not in the field and are looking to rest before the first major.
Hyo Joo Kim will attempt to defend her title from last year, where she won by 2 strokes over Hinako Shibuno. Another past champion, Brooke Henderson, looks to add to her success in Hawaii, having won in both 2018 and 2019.
The event is scheduled for a Wednesday start and a Saturday finish.
Asian Tour - International Series Vietnam
The 4th International Series event on the Asian Tour heads to KN Golf Links in Vietnam. Leading the International Series order of merit is Andy Ogletree who won earlier in Qatar. Also in the field is Taichi Kho, coming off his win in the World City Championship in Hong Kong. The field is headlined by LIV golf players Sadom Kaewkanjana, Anirban Lahiri, and Paul Casey. Top amateur TK Chantananuwat from Thailand is also in the field.
This is the first time the Asian Tour is hosting an International Series event at KN Golf Links. The Asian tour also announced an additional International Series event at the Fairmont St. Andrews Torrance Course in Scotland at the end of August this year.
Japan LPGA - KKT Cup Vantelin Ladies Open
Miyuu Yamashita headlines the field at Kumamoto Kuko County Club in Kumamoto, Japan. Yamashita is coming off a win last week at the shortened Fujifilm Studio Alice Ladies Open.
Korea LPGA - Hankookilbo Championship
The second event on the LPGA of Korea Tour for 2023 features a strong field with 5 players inside the Rolex Ranking world top 50.
Sunshine Tour - Players Championship
The second to last event before the Sunshine Tour Championship is at the Gary Player designed Dainfern golf course.
Korn Ferry Tour - Veritex Bank Championship
The KFT is back after a week off and is headed to Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas.
Japan Golf Tour - Kansai Open Golf Championship
The Kansai Open is the second event of the Japan Golf Tour season. The tournament is held at Izumigaoka Country Club in Osaka, Japan.
