LIV heads to Arizona and a Ladies Team Event

Top 100 preview
The top men are split this week between the PGA Tour, LIV, and DP World Tour. More than half of the top 100 men are off this week after the Players last week and the upcoming WGC Match Play in Austin. For the women, only a few of the top-ranked players are in Singapore before the LPGA starts again next week.

LIV - Tucson
The second event of the LIV 2023 season heads to Tuscon, Arizona. Hosted at the Gallery Golf Club, this presents a chance for Phil Mickelson and a handful of other former Arizona State players (David Puig, Matt Jones, Pat Perez, Paul Casey) to return for a tournament and showcase a new LIV venue. The first event of the LIV season in Mayakoba finished with Charles Howell III running away with it and his team, the Crushers winning comfortably over the 4 Aces.

PGA Tour - Valspar Championship
As a non-designated event after the Players, the Valspar is still host to a fairly strong field headlined by Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, Jordan Spieth, and Sam Burns. Burns is looking to make it a 3-peat at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook after successfully defending last year with a playoff win over Davis Riley. Two amateurs are also in the field with Ludvig Aberg making his second start and Nick Gabrelcik from the University of North Florida.

The SDC Championship is a co-sanctioned event held at St Francis Links along the Eastern Cape in South Africa. It is the first year this event is being played and the second of three weeks for the DP World Tour in South Africa. The top South African players in the field are Thriston Lawrence, Oliver Bekker, and Ockie Strydom.

Ladies European Tour - Aramco Team Series Singapore
The first of five Aramco Team Series events of 2023 is being hosted at Laguna National in Singapore. The 3-day event has a unique format of an individual competition over all 3 days and a 2-day team component. The team competition is made up of 26 teams with 3 pros and an amateur where two of the four scores are counted on each hole. The event is headlined by World Number 1 Lydia Ko, Danielle Kang, and Linn Grant.

The Asian Tour heads to New Delhi for a top tournament at Delhi Golf Club. Nitithorn Thippong is the defending champion and the top Indian players in the field are Gaganjeet Bhullar and Rashid Khan.

The top local Australian players are at the New South Wales Open at Rich River Golf Club. The defending champion is amateur Harrison Crowe, who will also be heading to The Masters this year after his Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship victory.
