Hero World Challenge, Men & Women’s Australian Open, South African Open, Indonesian Masters, Golf Nippon Series JT Cup
Tournaments This Week
Australian Open - The men and women are both playing at the same time in Melbourne for the Australian Open. The tee times alternate for the men's and women's events across two courses at Victoria Golf Club and Kingston Heath Golf Club for the first two rounds. The final 2 rounds will be played at Victoria Golf Club. The purse is the same for both at AU$ 1.7 million each (~US$ 1.16 million).
Hero World Challenge - Hosted at Albany in the Bahamas. This event is limited to just 20 of the best players in the world with the noticeable absence of Tiger Woods due to plantar fasciitis. This is a no cut event and has a purse of US$ 3.5 million.
South African Open - DP World Tour players are again in Johannesburg for another co-sanctioned event with the Sunshine Tour. The host course is Blair Atholl Golf & Equestrian Estate which is playing a massive 8,161 yards for the tournament. The purse is US$ 1.5 million.
Indonesian Masters - The last event on the Asian tour for 2022 and the final in the new International Series. This event is played at Royale Jakarta Golf Club. The purse is US$ 1.5 million.
Golf Nippon Series JT Cup - Final event of 2022 for the Japan Golf Tour. This tournament has a limited field of 30 players and is played in Tokyo at Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club. The purse is ¥130,000,000 (US$ 0.94 million)
