Weekly field update November 23rd

Australian PGA Championship, Joburg Open, Casio World Open, Bangladesh Open, Andalucia Espana Open

With the PGA Tour off this week, we still have a lot of golf happening around the world. The European Tour has 2 co-sanctioned events this week:

Australian PGA Championship - Hosted at Royal Queensland Golf club in Brisbane. This event is co-sanctioned with the PGA Tour of Australasia. This tournament features some of the biggest stars in Australia with Cam Smith and Adam Scott teeing it up. The purse is AU$ 2 million (~US$ 1.35 million).

Joburg Open - European Tour players also make their way to Johannesburg for the Joburg Open co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour. This event is headlined by the top South African players and filled out with European players looking to get an early start on the DP World Tour Rankings for 2023. The purse is R17.5 million (~US$ 1.03 million).

Other tournaments happening in the Men’s Golf World:

Casio World Open - Japan Golf Tour event held at Kochi Kuroshio Country Club. The purse is ¥ 200,000,000 (~US$ 1.43 million)

Bangladesh Open - Penultimate event on the Asian Tour hosted at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka. The purse is US$ 400,000.

On the Women’s side there is a Ladies European Tour event in Andalucia:

Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana - Final event of the 2022 LET season. The tournament is played on . The purse is € 650,000 (~US$ 675,000)
