Weekly field update November 16th
DP World Tour Championship, The RSM Classic, and the Dunlap Phoenix Tournament
3 Big tournaments in men’s professional golf this week:
The main event this week is the DP World Tour Championship. The culmination of the 2022 season is set in Dubai at the Jumeriah Golf Estates Eagle Course. The purse for the event is $10 million.
The RSM Classic on the PGA Tour. The annual stop hosted by Davis Love III is at Sea Island Golf Club. The first 2 rounds are split across the Seaside and Plantation course. The purse for the RSM is $8.1 million
Finally, the Japan Golf Tour hosts the Dunlap Phoenix Tournament in Miyazaki, Japan at Phoenix Country Club. The total prize for the tournament is ¥200,000,000 (~$1.44 million).

Collin Morikawa withdrew from the DP World Tour Championship. The defending champion will not be able to make it due to “upcoming personal commitments”
I was looking forward to returning to Dubai to defend my @dpwtc, but I unfortunately will not make it back due to some upcoming personal commitments. Last year was such a special moment in my career and I look forward to getting back there in the future.

Tony Finau, the top-rated player in The RSM Classic field has withdrawn. According to the release from PGA Tour, he will miss the event due to an “injury”
